Angulus was founded in 1904 in the little workshop of Father Willie Madsen in Copenhagen. Willy, the son, was a teacher and was convinced that the shoes worn by children interfered with the natural movement of their feet. In 1928, he developed a collection in collaboration with physical therapists. His wife, a great ballerina of the time, began wearing Angulus shoes during her dance performances, and it was an immediate success!
